A one-and-a-half-ton vibratory ride on roller is used to reduce irregular contours in the lawn, decrease the possibility of mower scalping, compress winter tunnels created by moles and voles, and provide a safer surface. Rolling is a great way to remove minor contour irregularities of your lawn. The down side is it creates compacted soils which can be detrimental to your lawn’s health. However, an effective remedy to this issue is Core Aeration. When performed in conjunction with lawn rolling core aeration will help alleviate compaction by increasing oxygen levels and water flow within the soil.
